Samsung official outed the Olympic games limited edition of the Galaxy S7 Edge yesterday and now the device has been listed on the South Korean company’s official website for pre-orders in Germany at an 879 Euros price tag.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Olympic games edition is released for the upcoming Olympic games Rio 2016 to be held in Brazil. The device has Olympic Games design with custom colour way pattern including the five official colours of the Olympic Rings on the back.

Samsung is the official Worldwide Partner in the Wireless Communications Equipment category for the Olympics and will make available a total of 12,500 Galaxy S7 Edge Olympic Games Edition as well as the Gear Icon X to all Olympians.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Olympic games edition sport some differences just in looks from the standard Galaxy S7 Edge. Units of the Olympic edition will come in a textured limited edition box, with an individual identification number (like GER-0001, or GER-0002, or GER-2016) embedded on it.

Samsung os only making 2,016 units are up for grabs. So if you’re planning to pre-order one, you might have to act really fast. Shipments begin July 18, which is the official launch day. Aside from Germany, the device will also be available in the US, Brazil, China, and South Korea.

The South Korean market leader has also created a special Rio 2016 app for Android, iOS and Windows Phone in partnership with the Rio 2016 Organizing Committee. The Rio 2016 app will give users access to all the juicy details about the games as they unveil.
