Samsung released the Galaxy Tab A (2016) back in May 2016 and the device is now said to be available for pre-order in the United States of America. For now, only the 16GB Wi-Fi variant of the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) is available for pre-order.
This news is coming just few weeks after the South Korean company confirmed that the tablet will be launched in its home country as well – it is expected to land in Korea sometime later this month, with the WiFi model costing $310.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) comes clutching a 10.1-inch touchscreen display with 1920 x 1200pixel resolution. The devices is powered by an octa-core 1.6Hz Exynos 7870 processor with 8 Cortex-A53 cores.
The tablet device also comes with 2GB of RAM and an internal storage space of 16GB . The on-board memory is expandable and can be notched further to a maximum of 200GB.

On the Camera aspect you get a 2MP f/2.2 front facing selfie camera and an appreciable 8MP f/1.9 rear shooter. Still on the camera, both front and rear shooter can capture 1080p video. The device which weighs an hefty 525g packs a generous 7,300mAh non-removable battery.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 will be available in two versions, a Wi-Fi only version and another having both WiFi and cellular connectivity. The Cellular connectivity (LTE) model supports download speeds of up to 300 Mbps. But as said earlier, only the Wi-Fi version with 16GB on-board storage is available for US pre-order right now.

The Galaxy Tab A model on pre-order in the US carries a price tag of $299.99. Available color options include black and white. Also, shipping is free and expected shipment time is 7-10 days.
