Samsung officially launches Purple Galaxy S20+ 5G BTS Edition, pre-order begins June 19

Over the past few weeks, many leaks have surfaced on the internet revealing a purple Samsung Galaxy S20, but now the phone has been officially launched – meet the Galaxy S20+ 5G BTS Edition. Samsung launched the phone along with the Samsung Galaxy Buds+ BTS Edition, also with purple accents.

Samsung made the phone official today but users can only make reservations for now. Those who are interested in the phone can drop their info on the Samsung website and they will be sent an email on June 19, saying that the phone is ready for pre-order. Although the specs of the new device aren’t different from the regular Galaxy S20+, the phone packs some extras in the retail box and that’s what makes this edition special.

Samsung launched the phone with the official color name Haze purple. However, Samsung says “beauty isn’t only skin deep”. What this means is that the customizations don’t just stop on the hardware. The UI also features some customizations including a new live wallpaper, 7 collectible BTS photo cards, unique stickers, an “inspiring” lock screen, and many others. Now this package is definitely one of a kind.

In the retail box of the phone is the Samsung Galaxy Buds+. If you pre-order the earbuds, you will also receive a free Wireless Charging Pad Slim -BTS Edition which, of course, comes in purple.

Samsung also ships the phone with one BTS poster when the phone is pre-ordered separately and two posters if the whole bundle is ordered.

For now, we do not know the price of the BTS Edition but we do not expect the price to exceed $1,199 – the base price for the flagship without any fancy stickers, colors, or accessories.
