The phone is awesome but the main problem is that sometimes it reboots. That’s the problem I got with the c8. Also the pip mode in the camera is not that good in that someone may think it’s a camera application… Atlst the white part shouldn’t be there… Besides all that, am enjoying my tecno c8… Perfect job for the tecno company

Under normal usage, u could use a 100% for 38hrs,
But people ℓ̊ike mƺ use d ba3 for 14hrs. 3G downloading and doing all other stuffs
Yesterday, i started with 80% in 6PM downloaded 3.2GB stuff, watching a movie + all other background applications and i was left with 63% in 10:15 pm

Rooting is the Android equivalent of jailbreaking, a means of unlocking the operating system so you can install unapproved (by Google) apps, update the OS, replace the firmware, overclock (or underclock) the processor, customize just about anything, and so on.
If u root ur tecno u won’t get any OTA update if there is any software update.
Rooting gives u access to system that’s the root of the fone but it also voids the warranty. There is no need Rooting bf u can browse. am using mine since September 2015 but I hv no problem with it. There is no upgrade to make bf u start browsing.
The phone is ok and perfectly fine but once u lost or it charger got spoil, u will hate it cos the only good charger for it is that white infinixy charger….

This phone got what it takes for I can work all round the clock. However mine doesn’t pick on when I use in my can when I wanted to my music… Any other options!
perfect mid-range phone….only the RAM is a concern..the phone’s processor is 64 bit which makes it more powerful and faster than conventional 32 bits processor…probably might be the reason tecno gave it 1gb ram…the 64 bit processor process data faster nd more easier than 32 bits reducing the work load on the 1gb ram… so its performance is almost the same as 2gb(32-bit) mid-range smartphones.

Yes it can be rooted, I bought my own on the 8th of dis month in abule-egba beside just-rite then it was rooted by there engineer. So now I can use GLO subscription on it,Perfectly .
Comment…please I can’t read my message I stored on the sim. Cos if you go to sms settings and go to manage messages on sim card, it tells you simply card is closed or unsupported format. Please is it a software problem or what cos my network provider said it’s not from them.

welcome to TechVaz Michael, comparing the two devices, i can tell you to go for the camon c8 because of the camera and design. that is if you love camera. But if you love great performance then the Infinix Hot Note Pro is the way

Tecno Camon c8 is the best product using for camera and ppsspp game and l enjoy is phone every day. l thank Tecno for release it, the amount in Nigeria is #35,000 naira.
Nice phone n good upgraded features but at some point it will become a mess with storage memory low because of the 1Gig RAM.
Tecno should increase their RAM size to at least 2-4 Gig RAM.
I don’t think I’ll go for it cos of the Ram experience have gotten before.
but the storage memory is 16GB, you can have as many apps as possible, the RAM doesn’t affect it. Plus, recently heard Tecno is about to release another Phantom with about 3GB RAM. Looks like they listened to the Nigerian people.
