Tecno Spark CM was launched yesterday by Tecno Mobile on their official website. This is the first smartphone from the Spark series to sport the trending bezel-less display.

Design
Looks like the Camon CM from head to toe obviously, with a Metal and Plastic twist to it. The rear camera is at its usual position at the top left corner, while the Quad-LED flash sits underneath. The Spark CM comes with a rear fingerprint scanner as well.
Furthermore, the dual antenna lines are curved and sleek, adding to the beauty of the device. When you turn over to the sides, it measures 7.75 mm in thickness and weighs 172g overall. The smartphone is only available in Champagne and Black colors.
Display
Just like the Camon CM, the screen on the Spark CM dishes out an 18:9 aspect ratio as well. A bezel-less affordable smartphone, the Tecno Spark CM screen reaches an impressive 77% screen to body ratio. The bottom bezel is pretty much vacant, while the top houses the selfie camera, front flash, speaker grille and sensors.
The 5.8-inch HD+ IPS capacitive touchscreen is ideal for playing games or watching movies in landscape mode. The screen has a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels and pixel per inch density of 282, meaning the details on the screen should be clear enough at all times.
Hardware and Software
Under the hood, the MediaTek MT6737H chip reigns supreme with Quad-core processor and 64-bit CPU architecture. Disappointingly, the 4-cores of processor on the device could only reach a speed of 1.25GHz and has a 28nm process technology. Running graphics is the ARM Mali-T720 MP2 graphics processor that comes with a single core.
There’s just 2GB of RAM space available here as well, with a memory speed of 640MHz for multitasking. For storage, 16GB is available and upgradeable up to 128GB with a memory card. The Spark CM still runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system with HiOS 2.0 skin.
Camera
The pixels on the selfie camera has been reduced on the Tecno Spark CM. With the selfie shooter boasting of just 8MP with front flash as well. At the rear, the 13MP shooter has f/2.0 aperture and 5P lens, capturing photographs with 4160 x 3120 pixels in dimension. You can record FHD videos of 1080 pixels at 30 frames per second.
Battery
Powering the Tecno Spark CM is a 3050mAh non-removable Li-Po battery with no fast charging technology. Even without the fast charging feature, it shouldn’t take more than 2-3 hours to fully charge up the battery from 0% to 100%.

Can’t love this phone less. Superb device.
I must mention TECNO does not give software support to their phones after it is released. So, don’t expect any update.
