The UK made the difficult decision to ban Huawei’s 5G equipment from the country, after first announcing that the Chinese giant did not pose any type of security risk to the telecommunications network infrastructure. What course, raises many questions … Why this back so sudden? What will be the impact of this decision on Huawei’s accounts?
Well, the answer to the first question is not that complicated.
UK went back and banned Huawei’s 5G. Do you know why?
In case you don’t know, according to Donald Trump, this decision was made thanks to you. After all, the North American president has said this in the last few days:
“We managed to convince many countries – I did this almost alone – I warned you that you should not use Huawei, due to security risks, it is a great security risk. I managed to convince many countries to give up the company’s networks, after all, if they want to do business with us, they can’t count on Huawei. The UK seems to have followed my suggestion today when deciding to withdraw Huawei from 5G.”
Yeah… In fact, it is very likely that Trump is right!
The United Kingdom has banned Huawei due to the huge fear of losing business with the United States. After all, as you may know, we are talking about a country that decided to leave the European Union (Brexit), and as such, it will lose a large part of its business with the European countries that still belong to the group.
That said, out of its top 5 exports, we have the United States in the first position, with the remaining positions being filled by European countries. In other words, risking losing the biggest customer doesn’t seem like a great idea… So Huawei had to fall.
