Umidigi has finally announced the Umidigi A7 device which is the standard version of Umidigi A7 Pro that was launched some months ago. The new phone still maintains the same amazing body but features lesser memory and its more affordable. Check out the device full specifications and the price.
Design And Display
The Umidigi A7 maintains a decent body that is built with premium plastic and also a smooth panel housing the cameras and an LED flash. It also has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The smartphone measures 163.7 x 77.6 x 8.7 mm and it’s available in good colors.
On the front, it has a waterdrop notch that has a screen size of 6.49 inches under the IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen. The screen has a resolution of 720 x 1560 pixels, 19.5:9 ratio, and 267 PPI density. It features an 82.6% screen-to-body ratio and a 2.5D curved glass shielded by a scratch-resistant glass.

On the camera setup, the A7 has a quad rear cameras that includes 16MP + 8MP + 5MP + 5MP depth camera. It has an LED flash and other internal features that will ensure good photos. The selfies camera is 16 MP and it has Face ID, Face Beautification, and 1080@30fps video quality.
Hardware And Software
The Umidigi A7 is powered by Mediatek MT6757 Helio P20 SOC that is built on a 12nm process node and also an octa-core processor clocking at 4×2.3 GHz Cortex-A53 & 4×1.6 GHz Cortex-A53. It has Mali-T880 MP2 for graphics and runs on an Android 10 operating system out of the box.
The inbuilt storage on the inside is 64GB with a capable RAM of 4GB which will runs sensitive 3D games smoothly and handle multitasking with ease. You can also expand the storage using a micro SDcard. The sensors on the phone are Fingerprint sensor (rear-mounted), Accelerometer, and proximity.
Battery Power And Network Availability
The Umidigi A7 has a non-removable battery of 4160 mAh without fast charging technology. The battery should be able to last up to a day on Talktime mode. The smartphone has dual SIM that features 4G LTE Network, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, FM radio, GPS, and Micro USB 2.0.
