Vivo iQOO Neo appears on c; reveals 6.38-inch display and 4,420mAh battery

A few weeks ago, we spotted an upcoming Vivo V1914A smartphone on the database of China’s 3C certification body. A little after this, there were rumors speculating that it could be the second iQOO gaming phone from the company. Speculations turned to be true as Vivo has confirmed that its next iQOO phone will be called Vivo iQOO Neo. Now, the Vivo V1914A iQOO Neo phone has been spotted on TENAA with its preliminary specs.

Only the preliminary specs of the Vivo iQOO Neo can be seen via the listing on TENAA. According to it, the dimensions of the phone are 159.53 x 75.23 x 8.13mm. This is quite similar to the Vivo iQOO phone which measures 157.7 x 75.2 x 8.5mm. The Vivo iQOO sports a 6.41-inch AMOLED screen which is similar to the 6.38-inch screen on the iQOO Neo. The phone also packs a 4420 mAh battery which is slightly larger than the 4000 mAh battery on the Vivo iQOO. The 3C listing of the phone has confirmed that it features support for 22.5W rapid charging.

We expect to see the other specs of the device once its TENAA listing gets updated. According to recent reports, the phone may be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 710 or Snapdragon 845 chipset, and it may also feature 6 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage and Android 9 Pie.

From the Vivo iQOO Neo image, it can be seen that the phone will look like the Snapdragon 855 powered Vivo iQOO smartphone which was launched back in April in China. Just like its predecessor, the phone will feature a waterdrop-style notch display and a vertical triple camera setup at the upper-left corner of the rear panel.

The LED flash and the camera unit are located on the same part of the rear panel on the Vivo iQOO Neo. However, the iQOO has its LED flash positioned separately from the triple camera module on the rear. Since a fingerprint sensor can’t be found on the rear of the phone, it is expected that the phone will feature an in-screen fingerprint scanner. It also looks like there are a 3.5mm audio jack and a USB-C port on the bottom edge of the device.

On the left spine of the iQOO Neo is an orange colored key. It could probably be used to access some sort of gaming feature or the Jovi AI assistant. On the right side of the device are a pair of volume rockers, and a power key. The poster confirms that the Vivo iQOO Neo will be coming in Black and color gradient Purple color.
