The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip was launched earlier this year along with the Samsung Galaxy S20 series. The most exciting aspect of the phone is the foldable display which it features. There have been rumors recently that Samsung plans to release a 5G version of the Galaxy Z Flip along with the Galaxy Note 20 series on Aug. 5. The phone was spotted on TENAA’s database last week along with all its specs. However, there were no images of the phone from the listing. However, TENNA has updated the listing of the Galaxy Z Flip 5G and has added images. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the U.S has also approved the device.
From images on TENAA, we can see that the phone is almost identical to the previous version that comes with 4G. When you open the device, are face with its foldable display with a punch-hole design. The phone has a SIM slot to the left while a volume rocker and a fingerprint reader are mounted on the right side of the device. The rear of the phone which can also be called the outside sports a smaller secondary display as well as a dual-camera setup supported with an LED flash.
Other features of the phone include a 6.7-inch foldable AMOLED display with a 1080 x 2636 resolution, an outer 1.05-inch AMOLED screen with 112 x 300 pixels, the Snapdragon 865+ chipset, 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage space. It also comes with a dual 12MP + 10MP camera setup on the rear and a 12 MP selfie camera on the front. It also packs a 2,500mAH + 704mAH dual-part battery, support for 15W fast charging, and support for Wi-Fi 802.11ax.
