Vivo U3 Launched With Triple-Camera Setup, SD 675 SoC, 5000mAh Battery

Vivo has launched Vivo U3, which is a new member of the company’s U-series phones. The phone has been launched in China and comes with features like triple rear cameras, Snapdragon 675 SoC, 500mAh battery with 18W fast charging tech, and flaunts a gradient design.

Vivo U3 Specifications

The dual-SIM (Nano) phone runs on FunTouch OS 9based on Android 9 Pie and features a 6.53-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 1080×2340 and a pixel density of 394ppi. The phone’s screen-to-body ratio is 90.3, and the aspect ratio is 19.5:9.

Vivo U3 is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 Soc chipset along with up to 6GB of RAM. Surprisingly, the phone comes with a Micro-USB port instead of the modern USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer.

In terms of optics, the phone has a triple-camera setup that consists of 16 MP primary sensor, an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2 MP depth sensor. On the front, the phone features a 16 MP camera equipped in a waterdrop-style notch.

The phone houses a massive 5000mAh battery that supports 18W Dual Engine fast charging. You will find a fingerprint sensor mounted at the back. The phone also supports face unlock.

Vivo U3 Pricing

The phone is available in two storage options- 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB + 64GB storage. The base variant has been priced at CNY 999, while the higher RAM variant costs CNY 1.199.

Vivo U3 comes in three color options- Spar Blue, Agate Black, and Onion Blue. The phone is available for pre-order from the official Vivo e-shop in the country. There is not any announcement made regarding the launch of this phone in any other countries.
