After presenting Vivo V11 and Vivo Z3i, the Chinese company has officially announced a new smartphone – it is the Vivo Z3, which is characterized above all by its rather low price.
Vivo Z3 is available in three different variants. The device is equipped with a “notch” in waterdrop style, a double rear camera, and a fingerprint sensor always on the back. In addition, the Vivo Z3 includes a function to unlock the phone via face recognition. Also present the intelligent voice assistant Jovi, similar to what we have seen on other Vivo laptops. The Vivo Z3 also features autofocus functions based on artificial intelligence (AI) designed to adjust lighting and enhance self-portrait shots.
The price of Vivo Z3 in China was set at 1,598 Yuan (about 200 euros) for the Snapdragon 670 variant with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of integrated memory, while its Snapdragon 710 model with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage is priced at 1,898 Yuan (about 238 euros). There is also a Snapdragon 710 variant of the Vivo Z3 with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage space at 2,298 Yuan (about 288 euros). All these variants are already available for purchase through the Vivo online shop.
Vivo Z3 uses Funtouch OS on Android 8.1 Oreo and features a 6.3-inch full-HD +(1080 × 2280 pixels) display with a 19 – 9 aspect ratio and a 90.3% screen-to-body ratio. A variant of the phone also has a Snapdragon 670 processor, combined with 4 GB of RAM, while the V1813DA variant is powered by a Snapdragon 710 chip, combined with 6GB of RAM. The storage options are 64 GB and 128 GB, both expandable via microSD card (up to 256 GB)
The new smartphone has a dual rear camera configuration that includes a 16-megapixel primary sensor with an f / 2.0 aperture and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor with an f / 2.4 aperture. On the front side, we find a 12-megapixel sensor with f / 2.0 aperture.
The smartphone has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS / A-GPS, Micro-USB with OTG support and 3.5mm headphone jack. In addition, the smartphone is equipped with a 3315 mAh battery.
