The Vivo technology company is not resting yet for 2018. The company has already released a bunch of phones this year. Now the new Vivo Z3i presents fans with the opportunity to look forward to a new innovation from the world of smartphones.
The massive leak of the phone took place on October 3, 2018. The leak included a video which gave us a clearer picture of what the device will look like. There were images that accompanied the information passed to fans and here, we offer you the full specifications of Vivo Z3i.
Vivo Z series have been launched since early parts of 2018. Two phones Z series from Vivo; the Vivo Z1 and Vivo Z1i. Why the company jumped over Z2i is unknown.
Design and Display of Vivo Z3i
Based on the information on the leak, the device comes in 6.3-inch display with water-drop notch. It is IPS LCD capacitive touch screen, scratch resistant, of 2D curved glass. It will arrive in 16.7M colors. The aspect ratio is 19:9, while screen resolution is 2280 x 1080 pixels FHD+.
Vivo Z3i has the pixel density range 400 ppi, besides that it weighs 164 grams. Though the weight information is not official yet. The screen to body ratio is 90.3 percent. Multi-touch support is up to 10 fingers.
There is glass on both sides of the device but the rear side has a gradient design, making it look somewhat beautiful. It comes in blue and pink colors.
Camera Features
Camera features include a 24 MP front (selfie) camera and also a 16 MP plus 2 MP cameras, which include features like beauty mode, LED flash, face recognition, and more. The front camera is of high quality and adds flash capacity to its power. It is capable of geo-tagging, HD video recording, 3G or video calling, 8X camera zoom. TV output, and more.
Hardware, Software and Storage
Vivo Z3i runs on Android 8.1 Oreo Funtouch OS 4.5. The processing chipset is MediaTek Helio P60 AIE. The processor found herein is Octa core and the GPU is G72 (MP3). One would expect that the device will arrive with the latest Android 9 Pie. No word yet on that.
Network and Connectivity
There will surely be 2G, 3G, and 4G internet connectivity for the Vivo Z3i. There’s no doubt that the device will be equipped with all the latest internet connectivity components such as Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth, GPS plus A-GPS and GLONASS. There should also be microUSB 2.0 for the device.
Battery Power
Vivo Z3i is backed by 3315 mAh battery of which we don’t have much information about from the leaks. However, we know it has fast charging technology behind it.
Who Is It For?
With the way things are, it appears that the Vivo Z3i is most likely a smartphone for the youth who love flashy phones with good specifications. They like to show off to their friends just how great their smartphones are.
What’s more, this device has a good display, nice battery backup, and other admirable features from the camera and hardware that teens would love.
Price and Availability
Z3i has a price tag of 2,298 Chinese Yuan, which when converted is about $334. We are not sure that the device will be in the market before the month of October gets to an end. The news of the leaks hit the internet with a bang.
