Wieppo S8 is now available on shopping stores after it was announced earlier last month. This is an update to the S6 smartphone the company released last year. The Wieppo S8 will be giving the Galaxy S8 a run for its money on shopping stores.
Apart from being bezel-less, the S8 is perfect for light users, there’s a rear fingerprint scanner for quick access. Internally, the device 2GB RAM and 16GB storage strong, Quad-Core processor and a 13MP rear camera. Lets meet the Wieppo S8.
Design
A combination of Plastic meets Metal here, both elements came together to give birth to this stunning beauty. The device absolutely gorgeous and reflects light beautifully. The only features visible at the top is the rear camera, LED flash and fingerprint scanner.
The camera protrudes out of its shell, which isn’t always good, because of scratches overtime. Turning over to the sides, it measures 8.3mm in thickness and weighs 185g overall, even though it doesn’t have a massive battery capacity. You can get it in only Black and Gold colors.
Display
Literally expand your horizons with the Wieppo S8, the screen stretches all the way to the sides, giving a Galaxy S8 vibe. However, there’s still a physical home button at the bottom bezel, while the usual features sits on top.
Focusing on the screen, the 5.7-inch HD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen is absolutely gorgeous. It has a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels and 282 pixel per inch density for amazing visuals. The screen got up to 82% screen to body ratio, according to Wieppo.

Hardware and Software
Under the hood, the MediaTek MT6737T chip takes charge with Quad-core processor and 64-bit CPU architecture. The 4-Cores of processor here reaches a fast speed of 1.45GHz with 28nm process technology. In the graphics department, the Mali-T720 graphics processor clocks at 600MHz with 2-Cores.
Light multitasking is allowed, with 2GB RAM, it has a memory speed of 733MHz as well. As expected, 16GB storage space keeps this device in the budget segment with a bezel-less screen. Nonetheless, you can upgrade the storage up to 256GB with a memory card. The Wieppo S8 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat.
Camera
The 13MP rear camera has a wide angle f/2.0 aperture lens, capturing photographs with 4160 x 3120 pixels in dimension. The Sony IMX135 Exmor RS CMOS BSI Sensor has Phase Detection and other features. The camera also has an 83 Degree Wide Angle Lens, 4.69 x 3.52 mm Sensor Size and 1.127um Pixel Size. The 5MP selfie camera has f/2.0 aperture, GalaxyCore GC5025 CMOS Sensor, Fixed Focus, 2.92 x 2.2 mm Sensor Size and 1. 141um Pixel Size for breathtaking selfies.

Battery
Powering the Wieppo S8 is a 2970mAh removable Li-Po battery with no fast charging technology. Even without the fast charging feature, it shouldn’t take up to 2.5 hours to fully charge up the battery from 0% to 100%.
