Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S have just been announced by the Chinese Company with dual rear camera, 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The phone was announced when the Redmi Note 5 Pro was launched in India. The device alongside the Xiaomi Mi 7 are expected to fully launch after the 2018 Mobile World Congress in March. Without further ado, lets see what the Xiaomi Mix 2S have in store for us.
Design
It comes with a Ceramic overall unibody, that’s quite attractive and comfortable to hold. It sports dual rear camera which adds more beauty to the back. The camera looks like the fast trending iPhone X-Like camera.
The volume keys and power butto1n are at the usual position by the side, speaking of sides it measures 8. mm. It weighs 191g which is quite heavy, because of the large battery capacity. There’s no rear fingerprint scanner in sight, it comes with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor on the screen. The device will only be available in Black and White colors, more colors might hit the market later.
Display
Finally a bezel-less display from the top to the bottom by Xiaomi. The company went all out on the screen, to achieve such a beauty. However, there’s still a little bezel at the bottom corner where the selfie camera is. The selfie camera has to be somewhere right? Nevertheless, it boasts of an impressive 80% screen to body ratio.
Lets focus on the beauty that is the screen, shall we? The 5.9-inch QHD FHD+ LCD IPS capacitive touchscreen is a stunner. The screen boasts of a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels, with 409 pixel per inch density assuring brilliant displays. It has a color LED notification light just close to the camera, while the Corning Gorilla Glass offers scratch resistant.
Hardware and Software
Behind this beauty is a beast, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chip is in charge with Octa-core processor. The processor on this baby reaches a clock speed of 2.8 GHz, for fast performance. It has a 10nm process technology, a Qualcomm Adreno 630 graphics processor and 64-bit CPU architecture.
All heavy mobile games should run smoothly on this device, the 8GB RAM is more than powerful. The RAM space reaches a memory speed of 1866MHz, for fast and smooth multitasking. 256GB internal storage space should be enough to store all your files, because the storage space isn’t upgradeable any further. The Mi Mix 2S runs on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system with MIUI V9 user interface.
Camera
The dual 12MP + 12MP rear shooters has f/1.8 and f/2.4 aperture respectively, dual-LED flash and captures 4K resolution images. The dual Sony IMX386 Exmor RS sensors boasts of phase detection, gesture shot, 4-axis OIS and others, while capturing photographs with 4032 x 3024 pixels in resolution.
Record 4K resolution videos as well as 2160pixels at 30 frames per second, 1080pixels at 60 frames per second and 720pixels at 120 frames per second. For selfies, there’s a 5MP selfie camera for taking the best selfies.
Battery
The Mi Mix 2S houses a 3400mAh Non-removable Li-Po battery with fast charging technology support.

Amazing!!!!! 8GB RAM?! Mehnn Xiaomi are the real deal! So much massive specs but the colour which is just white and black for now might be the discouraging aspect for some who loves colour but notwithstanding the smartphone is Real BEAST! EXCELLENT!
