Meizu has not been silent for long and now as the year rolls to an end, the company is trying to bring out an amazing product which is one step ahead of most other Meizu smartphones. Meizu M8 has been announced in November 2018 and we expect to have it before this December is over.

Design and Display Meizu M8
Design material of the device is mainly metallic. The dimensions are 147.6 x 72.8 x 8.1 mm and it weighs 159 grams. It comes in black and gold colors for now. It is not a water resistant smartphone but has fingerprint sensor and face recognition technology.
Display type in the device is IPS LCD multi-touch capacitive screen. The screen size is 5.7 inches. It comes without a secondary display. The pixel density is 283 ppi, pixel resolution is 1440 x 720. Moreover, display colors are 16 million. Aspect ratio is 18:9, and other features are 2.5D curved glass, eye care mode, Corning Gorilla Glass, 450nits brightness and others.
Camera Features
Meizu M8 comes with dual camera setup as well. There is 12 MP plus 5 MP f/2.2 of same f/2.2 aperture. Both cameras come with dual LED (dual color) flash options. Meanwhile, at the front there is a selfie 5 MP lens f/1.9 aperture. Here, the features are so good and they are AI Face Unlock, Arc Soft beautification, and 4P lens. The video performance here is 1080p@30fps.
Other cool camera features are geotagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, auto focus, HDR, face beauty, and low light mode.
Hardware and Software
Android OS v8.1 Oreo is the software running on Meizu M8. Its user interface is Flyme UI. Furthermore, MediaTek Helio P22 MT6762 chipset works in the device. In the same way, the CPU is 2.0 GHz Octa-core Cortex A53. Also, the GPU is PowerVR GE8320.
Storage Capacity and Sensors
There is an enviable 4GB of RAM available space in Meizu M8. The user cannot expand it. However, the user can expand the 64GB internal storage with the use of micro-SD card up to 128GB. Sensors in the device include accelerometer, proximity, light, compass, face recognition, and fingerprint sensors.
Network and Connectivity
Meizu M8 can handle 2G, 3G, and 4G internet networks. In view of this, the smartphone is a GSM, HSPA and LTE supported network device that relies on dual nano SIM cards to operate these networks.
Other salient components are Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi, mobile hotspot, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, headphone jack, and micro USB type C. Therefore, it means that Meizu M8 has no infrared, no NFC, or HDMI technology.
Battery Life
Powering the device is a good Li-Po 3100 mAh non-removable battery which has neither wireless charging, and no fast charging technology. Standby time and talk time also are not specified.
Price and Availability of Meizu M8
The price of Meizu M8 is yet to be disclosed but customers should not expect anything less than $129 for this device that even has features such as that of a mid-range device. The Meizu M8 is not yet shipping and may be available in the month of December 2018.
