Zenfone Live L2 Entry-Level Smartphone Launched

The Zenfone Live L2 is an entry-level smartphone silently launched by Asus. The handset is the successor of the Zenfone L1 that was launched last year. The Asus Zenfone Live L2 is the latest version of the phone. As sad as it may be, Asus hasn’t changed anything on the device other than the color. This means the device features the same body design with its predecessor.

It comes with a screen display size of 5.5-inch HD+ IPS panel with an 82.3% screen-to-body ratio. The display promise to deliver 400 nits of brightness and it comes with glove touch. The device comes in two variant. The first has Snapdragon 425 chipset with 16GB of memory, while the bigger model has Snapdragon 430 chipset with 32GB of memory. On the camera department, it has 13MP f/2.0 rear camera with PDAF and a 5P lens, while the front camera is 5MP f/2.4 coupled with Softlight LED flash for low light photos and video recording. There are other internal features on the camera which includes Night HDR, portrait, panorama, and time-lapse for bright photos. The front camera has support for Face Unlock for security since it has no fingerprint sensor.

Powering the phone is a nonremovable battery capacity of 3000 mAh which comes with MicroUSB for charging. For connectivity, it features 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and FM radio. On the sides, you will get a dual Nano SIMs tray and a micro SD card. Surprisingly, both variants have support for LTE but only one SIM can be configured. It has 3.5mm audio jack and other regulars.

As for the price, there is no information yet concerning it, however, the handset will be shipped in multiple colors that include Cosmic Blue and Rocket Red gradient with a glossy finish. It’s expected to sell at a price of $100 and above though.
