ZTE Nubia Red Magic Mars will soon be out. The manufacturer, ZTE yesterday announced the device and intimated that it will arrive during the month of December 2018 in three variants. Now we have enough information to give regarding the good and the bad of the mid-range device and we can actually tell you that there are many good things about the ZTE Nubia Red Magic Mars.
First, it is a capable gaming smartphone. You will not be disappointed but if you are always on the move, take your charger with you because the battery of the device is not very powerful.
Design and Display of ZTE Nubia Red Magic Mars
Body design of this device is a combination of aluminum and glass. The dimensions are 158.2 x 75 x 9.9 mm. It comes in black, camouflage, and red colors. Further, it is not water resistant, but has fingerprint sensor and face recognition technology in it.
Display type is a large 6 inches screen size; LTPS, IPS LCD capacitive multi-touch screen. Pixel density is 402 ppi, screen resolution is 2160 x 1080, display colors are 16 million. Other display features are 18:9 aspect ratio, 2.5D curved glass, shock resistant glass, and 78.3 percent screen to body ratio.
Camera Features
The rear camera setup is 16 MP f/2.0 aperture and PADF. At the front there is a selfie camera and it is the secondary lens of 8 MP f/2.0. It comes without LED flash technology.
There are good features at the camera side and these include geotagging, auto focus, HDR, touch focus, face detection, panorama, neovision 8.0, EIS and OIS.
Hardware and Software of ZTE Nubia Red Magic Mars
Android OS v9.0 Pie is the primary software running in the ZTE Nubia Red Magic Mars. It uses Nubia Red Magic OS v1.6 user interface. Also, Qualcomm Snapdragon SDM845 chipset is in the device. Process technology is 10nm and 64-bit architecture. There is also Octa-core Kryo inside the device. And the GPU should be Adreno 630.
Storage Capacity and Sensors
At this stage, the variance is stipulated. Internal memory 6GB, 8GB, 10GB of RAM exist in the devices. However, the internal storage capacities are 64GB, 128GB, and 10GB. There will not be a card slot for the ZTE Nubia Red Magic Mars. But the user can increase the storage to 200GB via OTG only.
Sensors in the device include accelerometer, proximity, ambient light, compass, fingerprint, face recognition, gyro.
Network and Connectivity
The supported network of GSM, CDMA, HSPA, EVDO, and LTE means that the device is very versatile in this area. In other words, this means that the device is 2G, 3G, and 4G compliant. There are two nano SIM card slots to make things happen in here.
Other connectivity components are Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi, infrared, mobile hotspot, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, headphone jack, and USB type c 1.0 reversible connector. However, there is no HDMI in ZTE Nubia Red Magic Mars.
Battery Life
Powering the Lenovo Z5s is a moderate 3800 mAh Li-Po non-removable battery. Nevertheless, it has no wireless charging technology but it comes with fast charging technology available. Standby time and talk time cannot be specified yet.
Price and Availability
The official price of the ZTE Nubia Red Magic Mars as stated is $389 USD. However, there is no guarantee that all stores will at this price. Regarding availability, the device is not available in the smartphone market and is not available for pre-order yet. Buyers may have to wait till first week of December 2018.
