ZTE have announced a new entrant to its “Overture” group of smartphones – the ZTE Overture 3. Devices in the Overture group all have one characteristic feature – low prices! Now let’s have a glimpse at what the ZTE Overture 3 is made of.
DESIGN AND DISPLAY
Coming with a roughly textured back and available on only the Blue colour options, the ZTE Overture 3 doesn’t look bad for a low-end smartphone. The 2.5D curved glass covering the display even further improves to the device’s appearance. However, the glass screen is fragile as it doesn’t feature the Corning Gorilla Glass or any other screen protection. It would be best if you employ the use of an external screen protector accessory if you are considering using the ZTE Overture 3.

To display visual outputs, ZTE employed an IPS FWVGA display of size 5.0 inches on the Overture 3 smartphone.
PROCESSOR OS AND STORAGE
The ZTE Overture 3 uses a low-level chipset – Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 210 SoC with 4 cores which run at a low-speed of 1.1 GHz. If you are a heavy smartphone user, the ZTE Overture 3 may not be the best device for you. Even the 2GB RAM may not do much justice to multitasking without lagging or probably heating up.
The ZTE Overture 3 comes out of the box with the Android v7.1.1 Nougat operating system and 16GB of internal storage , which, by the way, can be increased to 32GB using the SIM 2 slot as an SD card slot.
CAMERA AND BATTERY
As the image above reveals, the ZTE Overture 3 comes with a primary 5 MP camera while that up at the front, 2 MP. Interestingly, both lenses are enjoy the of their individual LED light.
The Overture 3 has a meagre battery capacity of 2115 mAh. The battery is a Lithium Polymer battery and is non-removable – a very huge downside. A low-end device with small battery should have room for replacement.
