Design and Display of ZTE Z557
This ZTE Z557 phone is plastic body built but with a glass front. That gives the impression it is made for people who don’t have a lot of cash to spend. The phone does not have waterproof capacity and no fingerprint sensor. Dimensions are 72 x 145.5 x 9.3 mm and the weight is 150 grams.
Other display features are IPS technology, capacitive touchscreen with multi-touch features. This device is 5 inches large with 480 x 854 pixels resolution, which is quite low. ZTE Z557 is proven to be Android OS 8.1 Oreo and that operating system lives on a modified user interface. Can’t say if it will be able to upgrade to Android 10 in due course. In addition to that, there is Qualcomm Snapdragon 210, 64 bit processor chipset with Cores 4 processor, and a CPU frequency of Octa core ARM Cortex –A-7 is seen here which means that things are good at the performance, and the GPU is Qualcomm Adreno 304 on speed of 400 MHz.
Storage Capacity and Sensors
The storage is very poor at 1GB. Notice, please, that the RAM can’t be expanded. But on the internal storage there is 8GB which can be boosted with external storage medium such as memory card slot. However, on the other side, the sensors in this device are proximity, light, and accelerometer.
Network and Connectivity
ZTE Z557 mobile device makes it good as a 4G Android. That’s amazing; for I thought that it is 3G Android. Note that the smartphone works with the following technologies- GSM, HSPA, and LTE. Included are two nano SIM card slots to carry out connectivity operations. Other network connectivity components are Wi-Fi, hotspot, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, FM radio, USB 2.0, and headphone jack.
