LDAC is a wireless audio technology introduced by Sony. It can be used via Bluetooth connection. This LDAC support will be available on all Xiaomi devices running Android Oreo.
Currently, this LDAC function is present in the MIUI development version for users in China. According to sources, this functionality will continue until all versions of MIUI Android Oreo are stable. However, the LDAC function can only be used if the audio accessory has this support – an example is the Hi-Res type earphone set.
For those who do not know what LDAC is – it can make the audio quality received via Bluetooth three times better. Data trams can reach up to 990kbps – continuously producing high-quality audio.
