Xiaomi’s development team has been busy in recent weeks bringing the beautiful MIUI interface to various devices. From the youngest to the oldest. Xiaomi has started making Android 10-based MIUI 11 available for Mi 8. However, it is still a beta release. As it is not difficult to guess, the update comes with a very large set of features. So if you are totally dependent on the Mi 8 as your primary smartphone and especially for work, it might be a good idea to wait for the stable version. Release dates for this version not yet known. In fact and looking at all Xiaomi devices, there are very few that are already running the stable version based on Android 10. So it will take some time before older devices like Mi 8 get Android 10 without any bugs.
