The BQ Aquaris A4.5 is another Android One Smartphone that launched in the European market recently after the emergence of Android One to Asia (Lava Pixel V1) and Africa (Infinix Hot 2), Google is now expanding its Android One program to Europe.

The BQ Aquaris A4.5 is an entry-level device that features impacts and scratches resistant screen display, quad-core processor, 4G LTE support and Android 5.1 Lollipop.
Build and Display
The BQ Aquaris A4.5 sports a very light and attractive body design with slightly curved corners. It is relatively slim, at least for an affordable smartphone from its maker, at 8.75 millimetres and weigh 115g. For housing they selected a good quality polycarbonates first resistant to impacts. Finishes, of Swedish origin, include a bilayer easy cleaning solution with UV protection and anti-fingerprint providing a unique touch.
Aquaris A4.5 sports a 4.5-inch QHD IPS Multitouch display with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. That screen resolution gives a pixel density of about 244.77 ppi which, when you consider the display technology, should ensure enjoyable viewing.
Camera and Storage
BQ Aquaris A4.5 features an entry-level camera configuration. It has a 8-megapixel primary camera with 5 lenses dual autofocus and flash. Buyers also get a 5-megapixel front-facing snapper with 4 lenses for selfies and video calls.
You get 16 GB of inbuilt storage to store your photos, documents and other files (The space available for the user may vary depending on the version of firmware installed. The remaining memory is bound to the operating system cache and other system elements). Storage expansion of up to 32 GB is possible using a microSD card.

When you consider its affordable status, BQ Aquaris A4.5 is engineered to deliver impressive performance with its Quad Core Cortex processor from its maker. The Cortex-A7 CPU is clocked at processing speed of 1.0 GHz, with support provided by a measly 1GB of RAM.
Aquaris A4.5 runs on recent Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system which offers impressive features and capabilities. Its Manufacturer boast updates for 24 months from product launch.
Other Features
BQ Aquaris A4.5 promises incredibly-fast mobile data speeds with its 4G LTE support, while having juice supplied for it by a 2470mAh Lithium-Po battery.
Connectivity features on the Aquaris A4.5 includes microUSB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/b with Wi-Fi Direct and hotspot. You get GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS for your navigation needs.
