BQ Aquaris X2 Pro is the updated variant of BQ’s latest smartphone, the Aquaris X2. The Pro variant comes with lots of quality features on-board, it comes in different colors as well, which brings out the beauty of the design.
As far as specs go, it’s still pretty much the same with the X2, but with advanced versions. There’s now a version with 128GB storage and 6GB RAM, it houses the Snapdragon 660 chip with a faster octa-core processor. Lets find out more below.
Design
At first glance you’d think it has the same bodily features like its little sibling. However, it’s worthy to note that the X2 Pro has an aluminium overall back and covered exquisitely in glass. This makes it far more attractive than the X2.
Apart from that, everything else still stays pretty much the same. There’s the dual vertical rear shooters, a LED flash underneath, a fingerprint scanner, volume keys, power button and the rest. It measures 8.4mm in thickness and weighs 168g overall. You can get it in Midnight Black, Glaze White and Deep Silver colors.
Display
Just like the X2, the X2 Pro comes with the exact same screen. When Pro and Plus variant are known for their bigger and better display, BQ thinks otherwise in its new Aquaris smartphone. There are no narrow bezels in sight, with super minimal top and bottom bezels.
The 5.65-inch FHD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen delivers be amazing display. The screen boasts of 1080 x 2160 pixels in resolution and 427 pixel per inch density, which absolutely makes it clear enough for users. Apart from dishing out an 18:9 ratio, it stretches up to 75.6% screen to body ratio as well.

Hardware and Software
Running the race here is the Snapdragon 660 chip from Qualcomm with Octa-core processor and 64-bit CPU architecture. The 8-Cores of processor here clocks at a fast speed of 2.2GHz with 14nm FinFET process technology. While the Adreno 512 graphics processor handles graphics.
There are two versions here in terms of storage space and RAM, there’s a standard version with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage space. Then the cheaper variant has 4GB RAM and 64GB storage space as well, although all storage can be upgraded to 256GB. The BQ Aquaris X2 Pro runs on Android 8.1 Oreo One.
Camera
The 8MP selfie shooter on the BQ Aquaris X2 Pro has f/2.0 aperture, 1.12µm pixel size and other cool features such as the SoftNeuro patented technology. The technology helps produce a bokeh effect by detecting your face and blurring the background. At the rear, the 12MP + 5MP rear camera has f/1.8 aperture, 1/2.8″ sensor size, 1.29µm pixel size and 1/5″ sensor size, 1.12µm pixel size respectively. There’s also gyro-EIS, dual pixel phase detection, autofocus, dual-LED dual-tone flash and other features.

Battery
Powering the BQ Aquaris X2 Pro is a 3100mAh non-removable Li-Ion battery with fast charging technology. With the fast charging feature, it shouldn’t take up to 2 hours to fully charge up the battery from 0% to 100%.
