Android Pie understands itself better with Microsoft’s Xbox One controllers

Support for Microsoft’s Xbox One controller – or controller in general – has been around for quite some time in the Android operating system. However, in the past two years, there have been a lot of keyboard allocation issues for some games with the Microsoft solution. Now the whole thing with Android Pie is to be better – which, of course, assumes that the smartphone with the problems gets the update.

XDA editors report that a Google engineer has closed a bug report about the Xbox One controller mapping issue, saying that it has been resolved with Android Pie. Many games on Android support Bluetooth controllers and gamblers who do not want to give up the controller on the go on the smartphone are certainly happy when everything goes smoothly. Especially with ball games or other things with tactics I would prefer a controller. But that can also be due to age…
