ASUS Chromebook Flip C101 – Thinnest, lightest, and lightest Chromebook

ASUS today announced a new Chromebook on its website, which is Flip C101, a miniature and lightweight version of the C302 model. With a 10.1-inch touchscreen, the new Chromebook costs $ 299 in the US, or about $ 6.8 million.


The new ASUS Chromebook Flip C101 is powered by the Rockchip RK3399 quad-core 2.0 GHz processor; it provides users with fast performance and efficient processing, aided with a 4GB of memory and 16GB of internal memory. The new Chromebook is also equipped with a 360-degree screen that supports multi-touch function, allowing users to switch to a tabletop style with ease because of its ultra-lightweight design.

According to ASUS, the Chromebook C101PA lets users interact, share and play in a variety of ways, from classroom notes to video sharing with friends. Not only that, when turning the C10PA into notebook mode and using the keyboard, large touchpad with multi-point gesture support, users can write essays, edit text… very convenient.

The ASUS Chromebook Flip C101 weighs only 2 pounds and is 0.6 inches thick. Users can use the device to connect to the internet or use it offline. The boot time is also fast, in seconds, thanks to Google’s latest Chome OS for Chromebooks. Like many Chromebook devices, the Flip C101’s battery lasts up to 10 hours and more, depending on the usage.

Asus says the Flip C101 is one of the thinnest and lightest Chromebooks in the world, and users have access to millions of Android apps through the Chrome Web Store. You can pre-order in the US next week from ASUS online store and also get 100GB of free Google Drive storage for two years.
