Now lets take a look at the wonderful specifications the phone boasts of.

Body & Display

The Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe differs in built from the Zenfone 3 which has a glass body. The Zenfone 3 Deluxe has a curved aluminium back but shares the same rear camera design and finger print sensor on the back as does the Zenfone 3.

The Android phone has a large 5.7-inch super AMOLED display and is comfortable to hold even though some with small hands might find it difficult reaching all parts of the screen with their thumb in a one-handed operation due to the size. It is worth noting that the Zenfone 3 Deluxe display is bigger than the Zenfone 3 which sports a 5.5-inch display.

The Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe is  also devoid of antenna lines in order to give the phone a clean looking back. Instead, the phone’s antenna was intelligently inserted around the sides of the phone instead.

The body of the phone is curved at the edges, thus making it difficult for the antenna at the edges to malfunction due to contact with the hands.

Camera Performance

The Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe packs a camera set up that is similar to the Zenfone 3 in that it has four-axis optical image stabilization. However the Deluxe comes with a whopping 23-megapixel camera instead of the 16MP on the Zenfone 3.

The super smartphone uses the Sony IMX318 sensor, which features a super quick 0.03s auto-focus and three-axis electronic image stabilization for video. The phone can shoot 4K 3,840×2,160-pixel video, and there’s also two tone flash, a colour sensor and laser auto-focus.

System Performance & Operating System

The Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe will boot Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out-of-the-box and will be powered by a Quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor which is the latest from Qualcomm.

The device comes with a massive 6GB RAM while there are different storage capacities available. One of the variants sports a 64GB memory while another variant comes with a 128GB internal memory. Both variants can be expanded up to 256GB. Isn’t that amazing? That’s way more than the memory size of some laptops.

Battery, Connectivity & Colour

The Zenfone 3 Deluxe boasts of a cool 3,000mAh Li-Ion battery. Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G LTE, Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Type-C 1.0 reversible connector for convenient charging, 3.5mm audio jack, and GPS/ A-GPS. Onboard sensors include Accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass.

The wonder smartphone comes in three color variants; Grey, Silver and Gold colors.

Price of the Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe

The price of the Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe, even though the device isn’t available yet, has been revealed as $499 for the lower 64GB model while the 128GB model will be slightly higher than that. The smartphone will be made available in the third quarter of the year, sometime after July.
