Axon M, ZTE’s ‘foldable’ smartphone, is certified in China and can be released there soon

Do you remember Axon M, the ZTE phone with two screens? The device, which technically can be considered the first foldable cell phone in history, although the pair of displays is manufactured separately) was released only in the United States and Japan, which is strange, since ZTE is a Chinese manufacturer and its country of origin was only at will. However, the AndroidHeadlines website realized today (29) that the gadget has just been certified in China, suggesting an imminent launch there.

By all indications, there are no hardware differences between the local edition and the global variant that is already being sold in the above markets. The only distinctions are the mobile network operating ranges – it works with 4G-LTE-FDD in bands 1 and 3 and with FD-LTE in bands 34, 38, 39, 40, and 41. Also, it is also compatible with 2G and 3G networks (GSMA, CDMA, CDMA 2000 or WCDMA). All to fit the infrastructure of local operators and ensure the maximum connectivity possible.

Technical specifications
