The Mate 10 will be the first Huawei smartphone to run Android Oreo OS

The Mate 10 will officially be the first smartphone with the Huawei imprint to run the Android Oreo OS.

The Huawei Mate 10 have been subject of many headlines lately more than it has been in the past. And there really seem to be no other way to explain that than the device is closer to been announced and released.

The latest headline news about the Huawei Mate 10 is the operating system the device will run. The Mate 10 have been confirmed to run the latest Google Android v8.0 Oreo OS. While many other information about the device have been obtained through leaks and unconfirmed sources, this Android Oreo news was made available by the Chinese company itself through a post it shared through its official Weibo account.

The post reads “Equipped with Android 8.0 to give you a better Android experience. With the powerful combination on October 16 #Munich” and was accompanied by the image Above.

This means users of the Mate 10 will enjoy cool features like the ability to snooze notifications, automatically turn on WiFi, exclusive fingerprint gestures, revamped file manager and settings, Picture-in-Picture mode, adaptive notification icon and more features.

Come October 16, 2017, it is believed that Huawei will unveil the Huawei Mate 10 alongside the Huawei Mate 10 Pro (which have had it images leaked. See HERE). The Huawei Mate 10 Pro, going by rumours, will come with better display (with an 18:9 aspect ratio) compared to the Mate 10’s 16:9.

According to this leak, it is certain that the Mate 10 Pro will have dual camera LEICA lenses with f/1.6 aperture, a rear mounted fingerprint sensor and will be available in three different colours – Brown, Blue and Black.

The Huawei Mate 10 will come with specs like full view display, 6GB and 8GB of RAM, and now the Android 8.0 that will rival top smartphones laike the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, LG G8, Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 and more.
