BQ Active 1 has been released in Vietnam and is a smaller version when compared with the BQ Active 1 Plus. This phone makes sure to distinguish itself from its big brother. The advice is that anyone wishing to buy this should just go for the BQ Active 1 Plus because the price range between the two is not that far apart.

However, there are some little things that will make people to pick this edition of the phone. For example, the Plus has Li-Po battery, while this one is Li-Ion battery. However, the performance segment is more like the same. If the buyer is not a die-hard feature-centric person, this BQ Active 1 can be the ideal choice because he or she is not asking for much.

Design and Display of BQ Active 1

As a result, BQ Active 1 arrives in metal and glass body design with fingerprint scanner. Dimensions are 150.8 x 72.3 x 8.25 mm and the weight specification is 169 grams. It comes in black and white colors. Meanwhile, this phone has no waterproof protection but has face recognition.

Also, BQ Active 1 also sports Android OS v8.1 Oreo as the operating system. That’s VOS user interface. In addition to that, the device comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset that works with 14nm process technology and 64-bit architecture. Besides, the CPU is 4 x 2.2 GHz Octa-core Kryo 260, and the GPU is Adreno 512.

Besides, there is a 4GB RAM which cannot be increased. At the other side, the internal storage is 64GB that can be increased to 256GB. Furthermore, there are six sensors in the phone and they are accelerometer, proximity, compass, gyro, fingerprint, and light.

In reality, BQ Active 1 phone is supported by GSM, HSPA and LTE networks. In view of these, this phone is able to use 2G, 3G and 4G networks. This makes it a 4G mobile device that has dual hybrid/nano SIM card slot.

Furthermore, BQ Active 1 also boasts of Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi, mobile hotspot, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, headphone jack and USB v2.0, Type C. Clearly, there are no infrared, HDMI, and NFC in this device.

Battery Life in BQ Active 1

The battery is a Li-Ion 3100 mAh non-removable battery. It has no wireless charging and it has fast charging support. The talk time and standby time are not specified.
