The BQ Mobile BQ-4585 Fox View is now available for sale on shopping stores. The budget smartphone was launched last month by BQ Mobile with a giveaway launch price.
The Fox View might not pack a bunch, but its affordability is out of this world. BQ Mobile has made it possible for anyone to afford this affordable beauty. Without further ado, meet the BQ Mobile BQ-4585 Fox View.
Design
Looks simple and beautiful on the outside, it doesn’t come with a fingerprint scanner obviously. From the back, you won’t know how cheap it is though, due to its sleek plastic body. The camera at the top middle seems to be the only wow feature at the back.
The LED flash comes after the rear shooter underneath, while the BQ Mobile follows suit. The Fox View inscription is boldly written at the bottom corner for easy recognition. Moving further to the sides, it measures 8.8 mm in thickness and weighs 132g overall. In terms of coloring, it’s available in Black, Rose-Gold, Red and Gold colors.
Display
This is definitely not a smartphone for those that don’t like bezels. It comes with lots of it, even the narrow bezels came out to play. Besides, the portable screen could only get to 61.7% screen to body ratio.
Three navigation buttons are at the bottom bezel, while the top houses the selfie camera and speaker grille. The 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS capacitive touchscreen is very compact. Boasts of 480 x 854 pixels in resolution and 218 pixel per inch density.
Hardware and Software
Running the race here is a Spreadtrum SC7731C SoC with 4-cores of processor and 32-bit CPU architecture. The quad-core processor reaches a clock speed of 1.2GHz and boasts of a 28nm process technology. The ARM Mali-400 MP1 graphics processor comes with a single core and clocks at 512MHz.
In terms of RAM space, there’s just 1GB of it available on the BQ-4585 Fox View. For storing files and apps, 8GB storage space is available to accommodate it all. Furthermore, you can upgrade it up to 32GB whenever you want. The BQ-4585 Fox View runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.
Camera
The 8MP camera on the BQ-4585 Fox View is pretty impressive, it has f/2.0 aperture and captures 3K resolution images. With the smartphone, you can capture photographs with 3264 x 2448 pixels in resolution. The camera comes with lots of features, a LED flash and records videos of 720 pixels at 30 frames per second. Take selfies with the 5MP selfie shooter at the top bezel.
Battery
Powering the BQ Mobile BQ-4585 Fox View is a 1500mAh removable Li-Ion battery with no fast charging technology. Even without the fast charging feature, it shouldn’t take more than 1.5 hours to fully charge up the battery from 0% to 100%.
