CES 2016 – OLED Display Now on A Laptop – Lenovo ThinkPad x1 Yoga

If you ask me my favorite device for watch pictures or videos I will scream TABLET, TABLET, TABLET! This is not far from the fact that most latest tablets and smartphone come with a display screen that offers deep black and red colours, thanks to the OLED display. The good news here is that same sweet OLED display is now on a laptop as Lenovo unveiled the new ThinkPad X1 Yoga at CES 2016. This amazing 2-in-1 hybrid sports an OLED display which means our images and videos can even be more clearer. But the ThinkPad X1 Yoga is not good for tough business though!

THE DESIGN

By itself, the Lenovo ThinkPad x1 Yoga Tablet weighs just 2.4 poundswith Lenovo’s classic ThinkPad keyboard and TrackPoint, complete with three colors and adjustable angles. The tablet itself weighs a manageable 1.8 pounds, which is slightly heavier than the Surface Pro 4’s 1.73 pounds, but it’s just as thin as Microsoft’s slate at 0.33 inches. Despite its 0.66-thin profile, the X1 Yoga squeezes in three USB 3.0 ports, Ethernet, a mini DisplayPort and HDMI. However, the chassis houses a microSD card slot instead of a full-size SD card slot.

THE SPECIFICATIONS

The Lenovo ThinkPad x1 Yoga is powered by a 6th-generation Core m processor along with up to 16GB of RAM and up to a 1TB NVMe SSD. Ports on the tablet include one USB 3.0, one USB Type-C, mini DisplayPort and micro SD, in addition to a nano SIM card slot for LTE-A connectivity.

THE PRICE

When the Lenovo ThinkPad x1 Yoga goes on sale in March this year it will cost around N350.000 in Nigeria giving the above specs.
