The most recent addition to the royale series of smartphones by Fero is the good-looking Fero Royale X2. The device is designed to meet your basic smartphone needs if you are not a hardcore hardware lover then this is probably the phone for you. Fero has their presence in a number of African countries Nigeria inclusive and has a number smartphone under their belt.
The smartphone ticks the box when it comes to looks, decent camera, durability and so on. The smartphone which has a more attractive spec sheet compared to its predecessor the Royale X1. The smartphone was launched late last month and is available in various outlets around. Enough of the talks lets get into what the smartphone has to offer.
DESIGN AND DISPLAY
At first glance, the Fero Royale X2 has decent aesthetics and a build of a nice smartphone. The look of a phone is very important because it is the first thing you notice about a smartphone and the Royale X2 does no fail in this aspect. It features an elegant metallic unibody with a nice curved edge design and a nice slim body. It has a dimension of148 x 71.9 x 8.5 mm and weighs 180g which is pretty much acceptable. The fingerprint sensor is situated at the front of the device and has a unique tweak to it where each finger unlocks to a particular app.
In the display department, the Fero Royale X2 is somewhat lacking in its price range, the least to be expected is a full HD screen. However, the smartphone has a 5.2 inches 1280 x 720-pixel resolution display with a 2.5D Dragon Trail Glass for screen protection. The display has an IPS technology powering it up with multi-touch capability.
CPU, OS AND STORAGE
The Fero Royale X2 features MediaTek’s MT6737 quad-core chipset that clocks a maximum of 1.25GHz. Accompanying the 64-bit built processor is an ARM Mali T720 MP2 GPU for handling games and other apps. Like most 2017 smartphone it runs an Android 7.0 out of the box. The internal memory stands at 3GB alongside a storage space of about 32GB for storing your file, music, movies and so on. If peradventure the 32GB built-in storage is not enough there is a microSD slot to increase the space up to 128GB.
BATTERY AND CAMERA
The Li-polymer non-removable battery has a capacity of 4000 mAh which is more than enough for handling day to day usage and supports quick charge technology. For capturing daily moments there is a 13MP rear camera and a selfie camera of 8MP with 84-degree wide angle for group pictures.

I think it’s gonna be OK . I will like to get one for myself. But I want to know if this phone has what is called Dirac
I bought Fero Royale X2 from Jumia thinking it was a great phone but it has given me more problems than service. It started hanging and heating within less than a week. I took it for service but the problem was never solved. About two months ago the touchscreen appeared to be burning. I took it for service last week but they could not service it. I have asked for the phone to be replaced but I never get a reply. In case anyone from Fero reads this my ref: DEVICE 353720090277571 Thank you
