How to Download and Install the Game

Fortnite on Android is not yet an app for Google Play Store and may never will, so don’t bother. iOS users have been downloading it from Apple’s App Store anyway, but anyone on Android will have to find a suitable way to do it on Fortnite website.

Follow these steps to download and install Fortnite on Android.

  1. Open an internet browser on your phone
  2. Go to fortnite.com/android find the installer there for download. Make sure your phone has plenty of space. Fortnite on Android will take 2GB space.
  3. Next, be careful not to bother about scams that may pop up, and make sure you stick to what you intend to download.
  4. That’s it. If the app doesn’t work smoothly on your phone or they tell you to wait in line, for now, don’t bother, it’s still in beta phase. Things will clear up soon.

Here’s a word of caution. Be careful to download Fortnite on Android only on the official website because as things are right now, it appears there are fake versions of the app online. So once you install, enjoy playing the game.
