Galaxy S9 and S9 + – Samsung released 4th beta update

Slowly but surely, in the year 2019, January will come, in which, according to Samsung, the final version of Android 9.0 Pie will be released for the Galaxy S9, S9 + and Note9.

It’s no wonder that a beta version of Android Pie is released shortly before the end of the year. Currently, the Galaxy S9 and S9 + get the fourth beta, which is much smaller than the latest updates.

The last beta updates that were even larger than 600 MB is now only about 324 MB. In the fourth beta again some fixes were installed. This has improved the Bluetooth code that does not fix syncing through the Samsung Cloud and enhances apps in conjunction with the Samsung account.

In addition, the night mode works again as it should. Furthermore, there is a new shortcut in the status bar, with which you can show the navigation bar or switch to gesture control. Screenshots can now be done by briefly pressing the power button and the volume button and no longer having to hold it.

Now you might think, the thing with the screenshots is not worth mentioning, but for us as a blog that daily felt 134641 screenshots, it is pleasant to have to press the buttons only briefly. The system sounds, for example when plugging in a cable or hanging up or taking down the Wireless Charging Station and intuitive matching animations has changed Samsung.

If I am not mistaken, even new ringtones are included. The settings now have a slightly different layout as well as the settings of the camera. If you double-tap on the Always On Display you can even change the brightness in three steps. There is also the weather FaceWidget. When the Galaxy Note9 received the update is currently unknown. Did you notice anything else about the latest beta? Drop a comment in the comments section.
