The Gionee F205 Pro smartphone has now been released in the month of February 2019. It is a good phone with fingerprint scanner to the rear and a set of two cameras; one to the front and the other to the rear.

The user will love the battery as it is powerful enough to serve for about two days on a single full charge. The device comes with four sensors and it has a metal body although it sells for less than $100 USD!

Gionee F205 Pro phone arrives in a metal body and frame design. Dimensions are 148 x 70.9 x 8.8 mm and the weight spec is not known for now. It comes in black, blue, and champagne colors. Additionally, it has no waterproof protection, and has fingerprint sensor and face recognition technology.

Also, it is a 5.45 inches screen of IPS LCD capacitive multi-touch screen, which comes without a secondary display but comes with display protection. Further, it sports 1440 x 720 pixels of screen resolution. Furthermore, there are 16 million colors, 18:9 aspect ratio, 2.5D curved display and pixel density is 295 PPI. Further, Gionee F205 Pro also sports Android OS v8.1 Oreo as the operating system. There is hope that this will upgrade to the latest Android soon. It comes with MediaTek MT6739WW chipset which comes with process technology 28nm, 64-bit architecture. Moreover, the CPU is 1.5 GHz Quad-core Cortex A53, and the GPU is PowerVR GE8100.

Storage Capacity and Sensors

Furthermore, Gionee F205 Pro is entitled to 2GB of RAM which is not able to expand. At the internal storage level, it has 16GB space. It can be increased to 256GB with a micro-SD card. There are four sensors in the phone and they are accelerometer, fingerprint, proximity, and light.

Network and Connectivity

The Gionee F205 Pro is supported by GSM, HSPA and 4G LTE, so it is having 2G, 3G and 4G available for internet connectivity and other uses. This makes the device a 4G compliant mobile device that has dual nano SIM card slot.

Expectedly, network supports in the device are as follows- Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi, mobile hotspot, GPS, A-GPS, headphone jack and micro USB 2.0. Evidently, there is no HDMI, infrared, and NFC in the device.

The battery of the phone is a good one at a Li-Po 3000 mAh non-removable that has no wireless charging and has no fast charging technology. Talk time and standby time are not specified herein.
