Gionee K3 is another evidence that things may not be bad for the company that many thought had gone asunder. Now, in the month of September 2019, we welcome this new addition to the world of smartphones. We have a few things to be unhappy about when we look at the composition of this phone and we have some other things we are happy about. The only thing I wish to let you know before we delve fully into the review is that this smartphone is a 4G Android.
Design and Display of Gionee K3
K3 phone is aluminum alloy built. That give the impression it is made for people who have a lot of cash to dole on a smartphone. There are cutbacks because the phone does not have waterproof capacity but it comes with fingerprint sensor. Dimensions are 153 x 74.8 x 8.3 mm and the weight is 175 grams. Alas! There is only one color in this device but it is beautiful because it is blue.
Other display features are IPS LCD technology, capacitive touchscreen with multi-touch feature, up to five fingers. This device is 6.2 inches large with 720 x 1520 pixels resolution, which is quite low. Display colors are 16 million and there is no secondary display at all. Whereas, the pixel density is 267 ppi. 2.5D curved glass is the main protection found on the display. Screen to body ratio is 82.2 percent.
Camera Features
There are three cameras in this mobile device. We find two to the rear and one to the front. At the rear we find 16 MP and 2 MP. Also, the front side of the Gionee K3 has one selfie camera of 8 MP. The camera is fortified with scene recognition, HDR+, AI FaceID, while the video resolution 720p. Features also include auto focus, touch focus, panorama, continuous shooting, from this department.
Hardware and Software
Gionee K3 is proven to be Android OS 8.1 Oreo-driven smartphone on a modified user interface. We hope it is able to upgrade to Android 10 in due course. In addition to that, there is MediaTek MT6763V, 64 bit processor chipset with Cores 8 processor, and a CPU frequency of Octa core ARM Cortex –A-55 is seen here which means that things are good at the performance, and the GPU is Mali-G71 GPU. The process technology is 16nm.
Storage Capacity and Sensors
The storage is very good and it comes in two variants of 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB. Notice, please, that the RAM can’t be expanded. But on the internal storage there is 128GB external storage as well. However, on the other side, the sensors in this device are fingerprint, proximity, light, compass, gyroscope, and accelerometer.
Network and Connectivity
Gionee K3 mobile device makes it good as a 4G Android. Note that the smartphone works with the following technologies- GSM, HSPA, and LTE. Included are two hybrid/nano SIM card slots to carry out connectivity operations. Other network connectivity components are Wi-Fi, hotspot, Bluetooth, GPS, FM radio, USB 2.0, and headphone jack.

Powering the Gionee K3 is a non-removable Li-Po 5000 mAh battery. This phone comes without wireless charging but there is fast charging option. Good thing is that this can last for a long time. Of course, the standby time is 800 hours.

The price of which Gionee K3 starts approximately not known. But for availability, this smartphone is available and has been released in the month of September 2019.
