Google Stops Production of Home Max

It is Google’s biggest smart speaker. It was released in 2024. Now, this product is certified dead by Google. According to the company, this speaker is sold out on store.google.com and when it put out the statement, it also said the product will no longer be produced.

It appears that only Google doesn’t have the product anymore. If you really want to get the smart speakers, you can search online and get them from other sellers. But you have to hurry because, with this announcement, there could be a rush for the speakers.

In 2017 when the product was released, it came alongside the Google Home Mini. The Google Home Max speakers were sold for $400, and it was the only Google speaker that came with a 3.5mm aux input. On the rear, it has a USB-C port on the back. It could be used for a wired Ethernet dongle instead of using it with Wi-Fi.

There have been others like Google Home Mini and Google Home, and these have gotten sequels in the name of the Nest Audio and the Next Mini. But it is time to kill the Google Home Max.

With the production of this large speaker stalled by Google, the company signifies that it is no longer interested in plying the large speakers market. Apple HomePod and Amazon Echo Studio will now exist in a world of their own. For Apple, things may not be going on well in the arena because it suddenly slashed the price of the HomePod.

Google still has a favorite smart speaker out there in the market; the Nest Audio and sells for just $100. But Google Home Max offers better sound than all other Google speakers.

The company promised to offer support for those who still have the smart speakers for the unnamed number of years. They were promised that they will still get the qualitative service they have always got from Google.
