Honor Magic 2 will be officially presented next October 31st

Honor Magic 2 was undoubtedly one of the most exciting announcements made by Huawei’s sub-brand during the IFA event that took place in Berlin from August 31st to September 5th. On that occasion, the Shenzhen house revealed some details of the new device but did not provide any indication of the launch date.

The new smartphone from Honor has appeared online again, and in the teaser, it is suggested that it will almost certainly be the date when it will be officially presented – Honor Magic 2 will be unveiled to the world on October 31st.

As many will remember, several details of the smartphone were unveiled by honorary president George Zhao during the IFA show. The highlights of the smartphone include the latest HiSilicon Kirin 980 processor, a full-screen display with camera scroll mechanism and 40W ‘Magic Charge’ technology (fast charge).

The teaser has been posted on the official Honor website and is displayed as soon as you load the home page. The phrase “Honor Magic 2 is coming” is highlighted with the date of October 31st. The teaser also mentions that this is the date of the official launch event, silencing all doubts. The smartphone is also shown in the teaser, and the most interesting detail is the camera’s scroll mechanism.

In addition, a post appeared on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo states that the Honor Magic 2 will come with a fingerprint sensor integrated into the display and will feature a high screen-body ratio – a detail that leaves no surprise since the frames will be very small.

According to the company, Honor Magic 2 should be powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 980 chip, which is the “first 7nm commercial SoC in the world”. The 7 nm processor guarantees a performance improvement of 20% and an increase in efficiency of 40%. In addition, the phone should get support for the 40W “Magic Charge” fast charge technology, built by Honor. The launch comes almost two years after the release of the first Honor Magic.
