Honor will unveil in the coming days two new devices that will complete the Play range. According to information circulating on the Internet, the new smartphone will be made official on June 3 and will bear the names Honor Play 4 and Play 4 Pro. Today, some official banners on Weibo were revealed showing the Honor Play 4 in three different color options.

The images were revealed by one of Honor’s officials and reveal this device in various colors. Unfortunately, there is not much variety and we will be able to find the colors White, Black, and Blue. The latter seems to have some gradient effect and is the most attractive color you have access to if you are not a fan of conventional colors. Officially, that’s all we know about Play 4.
However, unofficially, we already know a few more things.
This equipment has already passed through TENAA and it is thanks to this organization that we have a lot of fresh information. So we have, right from the start, a 6.81-inch screen with FHD + resolution. The panel is of the LCD type and also comes with a hole that accommodates the camera for 16MP selfies. According to the list, we will have several variants with 4 GB, 6 GB, and up to 8 GB of RAM. In terms of storage, we have 64 GB, 128 GB, and 256 GB.
At the camera level, there is a quad-camera configuration, which includes a main sensor of 64MP, a secondary sensor of 8MP, and two modules of 2MP. One of the latter works as a depth sensor, while the other will be for macro photos.
In the meantime, we have a 4,200mAh battery. This device weighs 213g and has total dimensions of 170 x 78.5 x 8.9 mm.
Unfortunately, we still don’t know the chipset that gives life to this device. We know, however, that it is an octa-core that operates at 2.0 GHz. For this reason, the MediaTek Dimensity 800 seems to be the best candidate.
Looking at the specifications, there is no doubt that we have a very interesting device and that for the right price can win many users.
If this has Mediatek Dimesnity 820 chipset, good enough. If it has Dimensity 820, great to have. Waiting for it.
