Sales of OnePlus 6 are really going well. The phone has, in fact, exceeded the target of one million units sold globally just within 22 days after its launch last month. Thanks to this record, the latest model has become the best-selling OnePlus smartphone since the brand’s birth, which took place in December 2013.
The Shenzhen-based company has previously sold a million units of OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T, but it had been three months since the official launch. OnePlus has already expressed great satisfaction for the achievement of this extraordinary figure and has announced a series of offers that will begin today and will last for the next 12 days.
For those who want to refresh their memory with technical specifications, it is worth highlighting how OnePlus 6 is in effect a high-end smartphone, able to compete with giants such as the iPhone 8 and Apple iPhone X, as well as Samsung Galaxy S9 and LG G7 ThinQ.
The dual-SIM smartphone (Nano) has as its operating system Android 8.1 Oreo-based on OxygenOS 5.1, upgradable to Android P, and has a full-HD AMOLED display (1080 × 2280) 6.28 inches with a 19 – 9 ratio. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 845 processor, combined with a maximum of 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of integrated memory. The phone is also equipped with a dual rear camera configuration with a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 20-megapixel secondary sensor, while a 16-megapixel sensor is placed on the front, which also supports unlocking via face recognition. In addition, OnePlus 6 also has a 3300mAh battery (which guarantees a good autonomy) with fast charge Dash Charge (5V 4A).
Despite all this high-end hardware mix, OnePlus 6 has a starting price of $ 529 in the US (around 450 euros), which is a lower price than the top of the competition.
