Hotwav M5 Plus is the big brother of Hotwav M5 and both phones are 3G smartphones. The Hotwav M5 Plus like the former was released in the month of November 2018. It is an entry level smartphone too but it is a bit larger than the M5 and the rear camera is more powerful. The only snag here is lack of RAM.

Design and Display of Hotwav M5 Plus
Body design in Hotwav M5 Plus is a combination of metal and plastic. Dimensions are 158.5 x 75.45 x8.05. It comes in black, blue, gold, and rose gold colors. It is not a water resistant device and has no secondary display.
Display type is IPS LCD capacitive touch screen of 16 million colors. The screen size is 6 inches. Furthermore, the pixel density is 268 ppi, pixels resolution is 1440 x 720, screen to body ratio is 77.9 percent, and aspect ratio is 18:9. Display protection is 2.5D curved glass, GFF full lamination.
Camera Features
This aspect is a very simple one. At the rear there is a main 13 MP lens which comes with LED flash. The video performance is 720p@30fps. At the front there is a selfie camera of 5 MP f/2.4 aperture.
Camera features include among others, geotagging, auto focus, HDR, touch focus, face detection, and panorama.
Hardware and Software
Android OS v8.1 Oreo is the primary software in the Hotwav M5 Plus. We believe that this will update from Android Oreo to Android Pie in due time. Supportive as well are the other hardware components such as MediaTek MT6580P of process technology 28nm. In addition to that, there is 1.3 GHz Quad-core Cortex A7 CPU, and Mali 400 MP2 GPU in the device. These run on 32-bit architecture.
Storage Capacity and Sensors in Hotwav M5 Plus
Internal memory in the device is a stringent 1GB of RAM which cannot be expanded and also 16GB of ROM which serves as internal storage and can be expanded up to 64GB with the use of a microSD card.
Sensors found in Hotwav M5 Plus include accelerometer, proximity, ambient light, and fingerprint.
Network and Connectivity
There is no 4G in this device. That is to say that Hotwav M5 Plus runs on just 2G and 3G, which means it is able to handle GSM and HSPA networks. There is provision for dual Nano SIM card slots to enable smooth running of the connectivity.
Other essential components of connectivity include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, mobile hotspot, GPS, A-GPS, headphone jack, micro USB 2.0, and others. There is no infrared, NFC, or HDMI in the device.
Battery Life
Powering the Hotwav M5 Plus is a 3050 mAh Li-Po non-removable battery which has no wireless charging and no fast charging technology. Talk time and fast standby time has not been specified. However, the battery is able to pull the smartphone through a day of heavy use if placed on full charge overnight.

Hotwav M5 Plus has no fixed or official price. However, you can buy it on some online stores for $135 USD. About the availability of the device it is available since June 2018, and lately it has also been released in India.
