Apple designed the iCloud activation lock to help users track their devices whenever they lose it and also reduce the selling of iPhones in the black market by bypassing the activation lock. One major disadvantage of purchasing a used iPhone with the “Find My iPhone” feature activated is having to know how to bypass the iCloud password. In this article, we will show you how to bypass iCloud activation lock on iPhone X.

How to Bypass iCloud Activation Lock On iPhone X

First of all, you need to turn your iPhone X off and then turn it back on. The device should open iCloud Settings.

Enable Find My iPhone.

On the page that comes up next, you will be asked to enter your Apple ID password. Make sure to have the password ready. If you do not have the password, delete your account and disable Find My iPhone. Turn your iPhone X off and then back on. Now, you shouldn’t see the iPhone Activation Lock again. As such, you will not need to log in to iCloud using your Apple ID.

Still didn’t work? If you bought your iPhone X from someone you know, you can contact them and ask for their iCloud account. Once you have access to the iCloud account, you can get rid of the Find My iPhone feature.
