How to Edit Your name in Game of Sultans

Game of Sultans is still new but it is already very popular. It is a role-playing game which is available for both Android and iOS devices. My first impressions are great, it looks like a lot of thought and effort has gone into the game.

However, that isn’t what we are talking about in this post. In this guide, we are talking about how to rename your character in the game. This can be done but only under certain circumstances.

When you first register on Game of Sultans, you are allowed to select your character and enter a name for it. You can either do this yourself or use the random name generator to do this for you. Once that is completed, you can only change your name one more time it seems.

How to Change Your Name in Game of Sultans

When you play Game of Sultans, you will be given an opportunity to change your name in the form of an item. You can find this item in your mailbox. To open your mailbox, simply tap on the icon at the bottom right corner of your screen. You can check the image below to see it.

Now, you should see a welcome letter in your mailbox. The message will be labelled “Message of Congratulations.” When you join the game you are provided with certain starter items like gold, soldiers and a name change. Claim these items and they will be moved to your inventory.

Go back to your home screen. Now, open up your backpack. This is the bag icon at the bottom of the screen. Find the ‘Renaming Card’ item. Select it, and tap on “Use.”

Now, you should be able to rename your character. Keep in mind, however, that you can only do this once. Once you rename your character, you might not be able to do it again.
