How To Install Stock Firmware On Samsung Galaxy Note 9

In this guide, we will be showing you just how to install stock firmware on Samsung Galaxy Note 9. Stock firmware is the original firmware straight from Samsung for your device. Different people have different reasons for wanting to install stock firmware on Samsung Galaxy Note 9.

It might that you tried a custom ROM and didn’t like it or the stock firmware you have installed on your phone has been infected. Whatever the reason might be, installing a fresh stock firmware on your Samsung Galaxy Note 9 device will give the device a fresh start. Now, there are some requirements which we will be needing for this process which we have listed below.

Once the above files have been downloaded, some boxes still need to be checked.

  • Make sure your Samsung Galaxy Note 9 device is at least 70% charged before starting this procedure.
  • This process will wipe all the data you have on your device so make sure you perform a backup of all your important files.

  • Make sure Samsung KIES and Samsung Smart Switch are both closed if you have them on your PC.

  • Have an antivirus on your PC? Disable it.

  • Make sure OEM Unlock and USB Debugging have been turned on your Samsung Galaxy Note 9. To do this go to Settings >> About Device/Phone >> Tap on Build Number repeatedly for like 10 times till you see the “you’re already a developer” notification. Now go back to Settings >> Developer Options >> Look for OEM Unlock and USB Debugging and turned both of them on.

    This process is ONLY for the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. Please, do not try this procedure on any other Samsung device or any other Android device.

    • Run the Odin.exe file you extracted from the Odin file.
  • Now put your Samsung Galaxy Note 9 in download mode. To do this, Turn Off this device. Now Press and Hold the Power Button, Bixby Button, and Volume Down Button Simultaneously.

  • You’ll be asked to press the Volume Up Button to put it into Download mode. Do that and then Connect your phone to your PC using a USB Cable.

  • In the Odin App on your PC, Click on AP and select the AP file from the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Stock firmware file. Do the same for BL, CP, and CSC by Clicking on them and choosing their respective files.

  • Tick Auto Reboot and F.Reset.Time options and Click on Start to commence the flashing process.

  • Sit back and relax the process is carried out.

  • Once it is done, it will reboot automatically then you can now disconnect it from the PC.
