HTC has introduced exclusively to Indian a refresh version of its HTC One E9 version, the HTC One E9s Dual SIM. HTC One E9s is an update to HTC’s earlier released E9 and E9+. It still features a cool looking Aluminium unibody. HTC One E9s runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with the all new HTC Sense UI 7.0 skin and updated BlinkFeed. HTC One E9s is built for high performance sporting a Octa-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 processor, 2GB of RAM, and a 5.5-inch (720 x 1280 pixels) Display with density of ~267 ppi pixel alongside 13-megapixel rear camera. It has stereo speakers and Dolby audio too.
Build and Display
The first HTC One came with a stunning design that it was hard to imagine the Taiwanese based company could come-up with anything better. However, the HTC One E9s did just that. Crafted on an all aluminium body, the all new E9s has almost the same thickness as last year’s flagship. It has a thickness of about 7.6 mm and weighs just 165 g (5.82 oz).
HTC One E9s offers a nice display than the 2013 One. It comes with a 5.5-inch 720p screen (which is a step down from the Full HD display on the base One E9 model). Despite offering 720 x 1280 pixels resolution the new smartphone offers a brilliant view.
The Camera
HTC One E9s comes with a 13MP rear facing camera with larger lenses that lets in more light for better photos, BSI sensor, autofocus, and LED flash on board. The camera measure the distance between objects and enable 3D-like photos with depth. Coming to the front camera, the HTC One E9s offers a 4 megapixels camera. Both the front and rear cameras can record 1080p HD video.
Hardware and Software
Powered by a Octa-core Mediatek MT6752M chipset clocking at 1.5 GHz, the HTC One E9s is designed to deliver superior imaging and display performance. It is supported by RAM of 2GB which is specially optimized for the smartphone. The phone runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) operating system featuring HTC Sense UI 7.0.
HTC One E9s packs a powerful 2600mAh Li-Ion battery, which is swappable unlike what is obtained on most new smartphones these days. It also comes with a microSD slot that supports the use of up to a massive 128 GB memory card. Onboard storage memory is 16 GB.
HTC One M8 offers super fast internet with support for 4G LTE (150Mbps) and HSPA+ (42Mbps) with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, and comes with Boom Sound stereo speakers and Dolby audio Surround technology.
