HTC Wildfire X With Triple Camera Setup At The Rear Side Launched in India

HTC Wildfire X has finally been launched in India after the company’s long break of over 1 year. The last phones launched by HTC in the Indian market were Desire 12 and Desire 12+ during the month of July, last year.

InOne Smart Technology, HTC’s brand licensee has brought HTC Wildfire X to the Indian market. The phone will be available in two distinct variants.

HTC Wildfire X Specifications & features

HTC Wildfire X runs on Android Pie and features a 6.22-inch HD+ IPS display with a screen resolution of 720×1520 pixels. The phone’s display has a waterdrop-style notch and the percentage of the screen-to-body ratio is 88.8.  HTC Wildfire X is powered by the Mediatek Helio P22 an octa-core SoC chipset along with 3GB & 4GN RAM options.

Moving on to the looks and design of the phone, you will find a 3D or OPVD mirror finish at the back along with Hyper Optical Patterns. The fingerprint sensor is mounted at the rear side.

The camera department includes a triple camera setup at the back which supports 8x hybrid zoom. The primary sensor is of 12MP with 1.25-micron pixel size, 8MP secondary sensor, and a 5MP tertiary depth sensor. You will also find a dual-tone LED flash below the third sensor. For taking selfies, you will get an 8MP camera with an 86-degree wide-angle lens.

The connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB Type-C, GPS/ A-GPS, and a 3.5 mm jack.

The phone comes preloaded with the ‘Mybuddy” feature which offers personal security to the users. This feature allows the users to find the phone if it gets hidden somewhere as the user can trigger the hidden-phone to a loud alarm. The users can also trigger the phone to send its live location data, and record and send the audio/video of the surroundings in real-time.

HTC Wildfire X Pricing in India & its Launch Date

The phone has been priced at Rs 9,999 for the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant. The 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant cost Rs 12,999. Both the variant will sport a single Saphire Blue colour option.

HTC Wildfire X will be available to buy online through Flipkart starting August 22. Seeing this price, we can say that HTC Wildfire X will compete with phones like Redimi Note 7S, Redimi 3i, and Nokia 4.2.
