The Huawei Honor V20 is a premium and flagship smartphone that pays more attention to a Full View display than any other things. Although unlike the ZTE Nubia X, it did not ditch the front camera but hide it on the onscreen hole which is not that big. The Huawei Honor V20 is built with metal and glass. It has body dimensions of 75.4 mm x 156.9 mm x 8.1 mm and weighs 180 gram, while the ZTE Nubia X is built with the combination of Aluminum Alloy and glass. The phone measures 6.07 in x 2.89 in x 0.33 in dimensions and weight 181 gram. Both phones are available in multiple colors. The Honor V20 has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for security, while the ZTE Nubia X has a side mounted fingerprint sensor for security as well.

On the front, both phones are notch free and they parade a large screen display size.

The Honor V20 will take better photos and it’s the only one that has a selfies camera.

On the hardware, the Honor V20 is powered by Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 980 chipset with an octa-core processor that clocked at a speed of 2.6 GHz with ARM Mali-G76 MP10, 720 MHz, 10 Cores, while the ZTE Nubia X has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset with an octa-core processor that runs at a speed of 2.65 GHz and Qualcomm Adreno 630 GPU. They have the same 6GB/8GB RAM with internal memory of 128GB/256GB. The ZTE Nubia X has a small model with 64GB of memory which is more affordable.  They don’t support micro SD card but have a dual SIMs slot with 4G LTE network connectivity and other regulars. The ZTE Nubia X is powered by Android 8.0 Oreo, while the Honor V20 is powered by Android 9.0 Pie operating system.

Our Verdict:

The Honor V20 will slightly outperform the ZTE Nubia X smartphone. Apart from that, the phone also has a nice body design and good camera configuration. The ZTE Nubia X is more affordable and it will also deliver in terms of performance as well. The phone will not only make an alternative but a wise buy.
