Infinix Zero 5 Pro vs Tecno Camon X Pro – Specs Comparison. We’ll be looking at the Pro version of both the Infinix Zero 5 and the Tecno Camon X. Already did a comparison of the Infinix Zero 5 and the Tecno Camon X. The “Pro” or “Plus” version is always an upgrade to a specific model. But you get better specifications compare to its sibling. Take for example, the Tecno Camon X comes with 20MP front camera. While the Camon X Pro features a 24MP front camera which is an upgrade. So after comparing the specifications of the Infinix Zero 5 with the Tecno Camon X. I feel it’s only right we do the same for its “Pro” version and get to see which one is better. Also looking at their prices and evaluate them.

Both phones have a fingerprint sensor at the back and the same aluminum allow build body. The rear camera and LED flash of the Camon X Pro is arranged horizontally in the top-left corner. Same as the Infinix Zero 5 Pro which has a dual rear camera instead. The Infinix Zero 5 Pro comes in Bronze, Gold and Black colors. While Gold, Black and Grey are available for Tecno Camon X Pro.

The Infinix Zero 5 Plus weighs 206 grams. Which is a turn-off for me, nobody wants a heavy smartphone inside his/her bag or pocket. The Tecno Camon X Pro weighs just 157 grams which is preferable. It also slimmer with a 7.8mm thickness compared to 7.95mm of the Infinix Zero 5 Pro. The Zero 5 Pro is taller and wider than the Camon X Pro.

The Infinix Zero 5 Pro features a 5.8 inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen. With a 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution and 368 ppi density. Which is quite similar to the Camon X Pro. The Camon X Pro features a 6.0 inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen. With a 1080 x 2160 pixel resolution and 275 ppi density. The Camon X Pro is bezel-less while the Infinix Zero 5 Pro still have significant base bars at the top and bottom of the screen.

The Infinix Zero 5 Pro comes with a dual 12MP f/2.0 aperture & 13MP rear f/2.6 aperture. The 12MP camera uses a Sony IMX386 sensor to optimize image quality and the 13MP uses telephoto sensor. While the Tecno Camon X Pro features a 16MP rear camera with quad-ring flash. The Zero 5 Pro features better rear camera than the Camon X Pro.

The Camon X Pro comes with a rather impressive 24MP front camera. Which beats Infinix Zero 5 Pro 16MP f/2.0 aperture rear camera.

Running things under the hood for Infinix Zero 5 Pro is Mediatek Helio P25 chipset with Octa-core 2.6GHz processor. While for the Tecno Camon X Pro, its the MediaTek Helio P23 chipset with Octa-core 2.0GHz processor. The Infinix Zero 5 Pro better clock speed will see it respond faster than the Camon X Pro. The Camon X Pro which came out this month, features Android latest operating system; Android 8.1 Oreo with HiOS V3.3. While Zero 5 Pro comes with Android 7.0 Nougat with XOS 3.0.

The internal storage of the Infinix Zero 5 Pro is at 128GB, good for game lovers and storing large file size. And also a 6GB RAM. The Camon X Pro comes with an internal storage of 64GB but is expandable through a microSD slot for up to 128GB. The RAM is at 4GB.

A huge 4,350 non-removable Li-lon battery capacity powers the Infinix Zero 5 Pro. Which is sure to last up to 24 hours on normal usage. While the Tecno Camon X Pro comes with a 3750 mAh battery capacity.

Infinix Zero 5 Pro VS Tecno Camon X Pro – The Price

The Tecno Camon X Pro is sold at around $185 (N65,000) while the Infinix Zero 5 Pro goes for around $357 (N125,000). Am sure when Tecno produces a 6GB RAM it would be expensive like the Zero 5 Pro. Based on what both device have to offer, i would go with the Infinix Zero 5 Pro as my value phone.
