iPhone XR – delayed due to software problems

The latest addition to Apple will also be the last to be officially marketed. The beautiful and colorful iPhone XR has to wait for its more expensive brothers. All those who have decided to opt for the cheapest of the 3 models will, unfortunately, have to wait till October 26th, when it will be officially released to consumers. But what exactly is this delay due to?

Problems in the Apple house

As we know the iPhone XR will come to us with many hardware waivers, obviously aimed at reducing their sales costs. One of the biggest shortcomings is the presence of an OLED display as for the iPhone XS and XS Max. On the contrary, an innovative LCD display has been chosen that also allows reducing the frames of the panel, sacrificing, however, the image quality. This would be the reason for the delay in leaving the iPhone XR. Apple, in fact, has found the quality of the LCD panel too poor, had to engineer a lot of software to improve the yield and thus satisfy the expectations of the users.

The hypothesis comes to us from Ryan Reith, vice president of IDC, which further informs us of the fact that Apple would not have a sufficient number of displays to ensure a valid marketing launch.

In any case, it’s no wonder these moves. Apple is not new to this type of news, so much so that the same happened last year for the marketing of the iPhone X, which followed more than a month that of the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, always due to problems with the new display.

The Cupertino house is still working hard to optimize their latest product, trying to avoid at all costs the solos and risky bugs of the last moment. Users who want to buy iPhone XR will have to wait a little longer, but we have reason to believe that, with this new iPhone, the patients will certainly be repaid.
