Kenxinda S7 Review – Another Masterpiece From Kenxinda

In the Kenxinda smartphone lineup, the S series is actually on top of the line. Kenxinda S7 gets the royal treatment as it joins this series. Previously, we looked at Kenxinda S9, Kenxinda X9 and Kenxinda X7 and we saw a high flying smartphone with dual camera features that were nothing short of stunning. Kenxinda S7 also begets respect in this category, in fact, it begets the same respect. The smartphone was announced in July this year and got its launch in this present month. As Kenxinda S7 will be detailed out fully and clearly, kindly keep your eyeballs attached to your screens.

The smartphone OEM prefers to go plastic in their products’s body material, Kenxinda S7 doesn’t fall short of that. Starting out with the smartphone’s back cover, the classic design used was made through plastic injection molding process which gives the rear a unique texture. As classified by the OEM, the smartphone “feels even better than its looks”. At the fore, the custodian of the bottom bezel is a fingerprint scanner. The top bezel contains the front camera, earpiece and light sensor. The smartphone has a slim build as it has a 9.2 mm thickness. Its other dimensions are – 145 mm length and 92 mm width. It weighs 190 g including its battery. Gold and Grey are the colour options with which the smartphone arrives in.

Kenxinda S7 has 5.0 inches HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Its touchscreen type is the IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen. What makes the screen sharp alongside the resolution if the 294 ppi pixel density. Defending the screen from shattering when it falls is the Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

The smartphone uses the MediaTek MT6737 chipset. Its CPU is a Quad core ARM Cortex-A53 CPU that clocks at 1.3GHz. This 64-bit processor with four cores utilizes the 28nm process technology. The graphics processing unit on the smartphone is the ARM Mali-T720 MP2. The smartphone runs on the Android v7.0 Nougat OS. The RAM present on the smartphone for multi-tasking duties is 2GB. The ROM on the smartphone is 16GB. It can be expanded to a max 128GB through the employment of a micro SD card.

The camera section witnesses a dual setup at the back and a single cam at the fore. The dual setup at the rear consists of a 13MP snapper and 8MP sub-snapper. A dual-LED flash ensures brightening in low light conditions. The single-camera at the front has an 8MP shooter which lacks a flash. All the network types are present on the smartphone for cellular connectivity.

Kenxinda S7 uses a powerful non-removable Lithium-Ion 4,500 mAh battery.

  1. I bought this phone and would have loved it except that it has an extremely weak signal. I had to go outside to pick up the signal or stand in my bow window in the house. I one of the original IPhones and never had any problem picking up signal but the Ken Xin Da S7’s ability to pick up a signal was comparable to my husband’s 12 year old flip phone. It did pick up wifi without any problem, but then again, I was sitting in the same room as the hub. Everything else about the phone is great, so if you are living under a tower, I would recommend it. I live about 1-2 miles from the nearest one depending on the direction I am facing.
